Maricopa County

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Maricopa County StandDown, the country's largest event of its kind, serving homeless and at-risk military veterans of all ages.

The Arizona Veterans StandDown Alliance (AVSA), an alliance of community-based organizations which is coordinated by the Arizona Coalition to End Homelessness, will proudly present the 2017 Maricopa County StandDown on Thursday and Friday, February 9th & 10th, 2017.

PLEASE NOTE: The greatest need for volunteers is Thursday, February 9th.

Thanks to the amazing volunteer organizing efforts of our valued partners at Valley of the Sun United Way, over 2,000 volunteers will be needed for this two-day event to assist as Guest Guides for veterans, assist organizers with data entry, and provide a warm welcome to all who attend.
